As a plastic surgery resident (who is also turning 30), I have to say that what this tiktok guy did was COMPLETELY ridiculous. An unprompted analysis of someone’s face under the nefarious guise of a professional title is so antithetical to the core of medicine and caring for our patients. Makes me sick and I’m very sorry people think it’s ok to do this!
i personally find signs of ageing so beautiful in people! especially smile lines and "crow’s feet" which are essentially physical manifestations of all the happy moments in a person’s life :’)
Troye, be yourself! Stay sporty, do gym, hydrate yourself, sleep well, eat well! Aging is part of life, the many times you smile, you laugh or you cried, what counts the most is the best memories and what you keep from the best and not so best moments. In the end of the day it’s not about the beauty proceedings it’s the lessons, the wisdom and the wellness! If you’re healthy everything is ok!! X
Call me miss parasocial but god I've missed your thoughts and words so badly. I've followed you for ten years now and I'll love you anyways, regardless of what you choose. I like seeing wrinkles, odd teeth, lobsided smiles and frowns. It feels slightly odd to say, because I am starting botox for my chronic migraines, but I just hope my face stays the same. I've worked hard to appreciate my face as is, I don't desire sudden changes now. But being so highlighted in pictures and videos and constantly online, I can imagine that is hard to balance with your own perceptions, values and opinions. Anyways, ily

I honestly can’t even believe someone as beautiful and talented and gorgeous as troye can have any insecurities about aging or how he looks, it just goes to show that at the end of the day we are all walking versions of each other sharing the same disoriented thoughts about ourselves, not being able to see ourselves clearly and social media just keeps feeding into it giving us new insecurities everyday.
